Book Description
Interest in the study of business networks in Russia has been growing dramatically lately. This is dictated by the interests of state policy, the redistribution of control to the regional level, the establishment of horizontal ties of enterprises in the regional business environment. Networks allow us to operationalize scientific concepts of social and human capital, jointly consider social and economic ties and their mutual impact on the development of organizations. Socio-economic interactions in Russia are traditionally based on personal trust, so the share of unpredictable interactions is extremely high, unlike countries with developed market economies. The network approach can be applied in the study of both internal and external interactions of the organization. The book is an addition to the basic textbook on social networks “Network measurements in sociology” (M., 2004). It describes in detail and analyzes the ways of building business networks of different levels - industry, corporate and personal. The results of quantitative and qualitative surveys conducted with the participation of the author, as well as text databases from open sources are used as a database.
