The main theme of the next issue is "Women in the Religious Community: West / East". This is a historical analysis in a comparative perspective of different types of women's religious associations. Articles of Russian and German historians are devoted to this topic. The religious culture of the Middle Ages is represented by an article on space and time in the mystical treatise by Mechtilda of Magdeburg; in the section "Images and political history" the problems of the poetics of the Ottonian book miniature are raised.
