The author summarizes the long personal experience of introducing the methods of practical psychology into the practice of crime investigation. The principles and techniques of one of the most applied areas of modern psychological knowledge – neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) have proven their value in the field of psychocorrection, personal development, effective communication and can be successfully applied in law enforcement. The legislation is given as of January 2021 . The collection includes materials on the following topics: • psychology of interrogation; • styles of activity of the investigator; • identification of destructive influences on the Internet; • compilation of a psychological portrait of an unidentified person; • psychological resources of the investigator.
