Simmetrii v prirode, iskusstve, nauke, filosofii
The first part of the book deals with spiral symmetries (vortices) in nature, art, mathematics, and physics. In the second part, the numerical octahedron is studied - the set {3n, 2"} (mod 10), in which the operation of p-multiplication is introduced, which turns it into a group isomorphic to the symmetry group of the square. The concept of quasi-symmetry is introduced and quasi-symmetric representations of the numerical octahedron in space are considered. The book addressed to mathematicians, teachers of mathematics in schools and colleges Lemmas and theorems of the second part can be offered to students as exercises on the theory of groups of motion in space, as propaedeutics to geometry.
